Back again from a long mission off grid. Luckily things seem to be calming down and getting bac in place. Can’t wait to see old friends and catch up. There’s no place like grid, there’s no place like grid.
Anon was curled comfortably on one of the two couches in the living-room, his computing tablet in his hands. Sprawled out across his lap was Digit, his blue-eyed black kitten, purring loudly and batting at his hands.
“Woah woah woah!” There came a dull thud from the garage beneath, followed by a light ‘ow’ as the elevator to the underground ‘hangar’ of sorts descended. When it came back up Ram was standing ontop of it, rubbing his behind slightly. Bright blue coolant had stained his pants and part of his back.
“I think your bike is leaking again Anon. I just slipped in a big puddle of the stuff downstairs.”
He removed his jacket and set it in the sink, letting it sit there.
“How you doing?”
Anon leaned over the back of the couch, watching the lift rise. Once he saw poor Ram covered in the coolant liquid, he frowned. “I am sorry about that, Ram. I have been trying to at least plug the mess, but it continues to leak everywhere.” He sighed lightly, setting his tablet on the coffee-table and beckoning Ram to come sit if he’d like. “Back to completely normal, fortunately.”
Beta had been resting in an upstairs bedroom when muffled voices from down the hall roused him. It sounded like Anon, and the other program Beta could not immediately identify. He pushed himself up into a sitting position letting his legs fall over the side of a bed. Beta knew he would go and meet Anon and the other program, however, he was pushing it off for as long as he could. Beta was angry at himself for not being there to help Anon a few weeks earlier. Of course, Beta realized there was no way he could help it. He had been needed off grid at the time to complete an assignment and he was completely unaware of Anon’s situation until after the crises had been dealt with and he had returned safely.
Beta hadn’t seen Anon though, since he had arrived back at the house while Anon was out. Ideally he had wanted to speak to his friend alone, but he wouldn’t put it off any longer. With a sigh Beta stood up and walked toward the door. His hand hesitated over the knob. Once again he had to muster the conviction to take the next step. Once that was done Beta slowly took one step after another until he reached the main living room. Anon was there, draped across one of Flynns magnificently white sofas. He looked at ease with his back turned to Beta. This helped the younger program feel a bit more comfortable too. Beta started to take another step forward when Anon turned around to set his tablet on the coffee-table. Beta froze in mid-step causing his foot to come down rather heavily, and loudly. Beta’s whole body went stiff as he awkwardly tried to stammer out a sufficient greeting, “Anon,” he started, letting the name linger. Desperate for an adequate follow-up, Beta began to stammer. “I-um,” his feet shuffled nervously, “Are you feeling-um-” his left hand reached up to scratch a non-existent itch, “uh…” Finally Beta just decided to blurt it out. “I’m sorry, Anon.”
I wonder if he would be willing to be social with me?
Of course, Anon. Actually, I’m quite relieved to see you back and in relatively good health. Its been ages since we last saw each other and talked. I’ve been very busy off the grid.
It is good to be back after an unexpected turn of events kept me off grid longer than I had anticipated.

Beta.
I will be gone on a mission for the next couple of cycles. In my absence, I wish that you would patrol the basic perimeter of the Flynn household. The parameters of my typical patrols and as well as the information to the household's security protocols have been routed to your computing tablet.
One last thing: Tron will be present in the household while I am gone, when he is not on patrols. Feel free to pass any inquiries you may have onto him in my absence.
>Anon.
Anon,
Understood. I’ll complete the assignment and let you know how everything is upon your return. Enjoy your time away, and I will look forward to hearing how your mission goes.
-Beta
I would finish my assigned patrol. Afterwards, I would spend my remaining time pushing the limits of my light cycle.
((OOC: I would find a quiet place on a hill and just spend my remaining hours with my dog playing catch, then crying for wasted time and time I won’t see. Finally acceptance, and finish playing catch.))
Does wanting to have sex with Sam Winchester mean that you’re suicidal?
I’m not suicidal.
I do not believe so. As far as I’m aware the need for physical stimulation with an attractive being is commonly considered as healthy not only for the mind, but the body as well. I say, go for it.

I definitely need to brush up on my knowledge of user slang. I recently heard the term, “Time to go nuke some din din,” from a user and I had difficulty determining whether or not this was a reference to their need for physical sustenance, or their need to relive themselves on a regular basis.
I am relieved to be back and at home after an exhausting weekend hunt for a rogue virus. A day or two of “R&R”, as I’ve heard users say, will do my circuitry some good.
Ah, there you are, Beta.
Speaking of rest, do you have a living space…
Thank you, Anon. It will be a pleasure to stay with you and Tron for awhile. I must admit, I’m also rather anxious to get to know my superior program a bit better.
